Simple Ways To Build Your List

There’s a popular saying among Internet marketers, and that is: “the money is in the list”.

So why do so many experts believe so strongly in this adage?

Is building a mailing list really that vital to your online success?

Of course it is! Building a list of responsive people means you will have access to an entire list of people who are already interested in your products or services. Having a responsive list is a huge asset for an online business that can generate profits, increase conversion rates and reduce advertising costs. The rising costs of online advertising mean that acquiring new customers is becoming expensive. Imagine you place an Adwords ad and you’re paying 50 cents per click and you receive 100 clicks for $50. However, if you only have a conversion rate of 2%, this means you’re making on average 2 sales for every 100 clicks, so the rest are wasted. By contrast, if you get that visitor to join your mailing list, you can potentially raise your conversion rate as high as 40%. For this reason, it’s clear to see how spending some time building your list can make such a big impact on your business.

In this article we will be talking about a few effective tips that can help you with your list building. Assuming you happen to be researching with respect to way more specifics regarding email marketing acquire a little extra time for you to have a look at my AffiloJetpack Bonus offer with regard to additional important points.

If you’re starting off with Internet marketing, then chances are you haven’t begun to build your email list yet. There really are quite a few online marketers who have been around for a while, but they still don’t have a list. So the most important suggestion is to do it the right way from the beginning. Take action right away, avoid wasting time with only reading. You can find an incredible amount of info about IM, and that makes it very easy to get lost. Spending too much time on forums, subscribing and reading to too many newsletters, listening to tons of advice will only get you confused. If you want your business to really take off, then start building your marketing list and everything else will fall into place. Provided you will desire a easy together with very easy system when you need to bump your cyberspace cash flow by means of building up web sites which will tug in website traffic along with sales quickly by way of email marketing then simply pay attention to whatever Mark Ling engages in and check out my own AffiloJetpack Review just for a lot more resources.

Starting to build your email list is only the first step; you also need to be clear about how you will be monetizing it. You can choose a number of strategies to make money from your list; however, affiliate marketing is a very profitable method. You can do affiliate reviews on good products, if your list finds them useful you will make some sales from it. It’s important to help those on your list while making them an offer at the same time. There should be a strong balance between the information you send them and the products you recommend. Other methods of monetization are doing joint ventures, including a solo ad, or other ads in your newsletter.

Building a list is not hard when you’re taking the right action. Just treat your subscribers with respect, deliver value, and watch as profits start to roll in. If you are hoping for even further advice on email marketing plans and social networking specialist techniques  why not head to my personal blog.

If you want to use the Internet as a tool in marketing your business, you need to know how to build your opt-in email list and start to make easy money online. A wide list of email subscribers is really very important for an online business to succeed.

Let’s start with how often to send out the newsletter. Many people are frustrated about this issue. They don’t want to email too often or not often enough. Okay, here is what you do. The very first email you send to each prospect make it very clear how often you’re going to email them with your newsletter, whether it be weekly, monthly or whatever. It really doesn’t matter how often as long as there are no surprises. You will not please everybody so don’t try. Pick a frequency and stick to it. Consistency is what you want.

First, you need to choose an excellent niche. From that niche you must obtain a list of email subscribers or visitors that show interest in what you are promoting. These are people who are more than willing to buy and spend their money on that niche. When you have started making your list, you can email your visitors regularly and offer them freebies such as weekly newsletters, free videos and ebooks, gift vouchers, or anything that can be very informative and that may interest them. This is also one way of creating a strong relationship with your subscribers and opening greater possibilities for you to make easy money online.

When sending emails to visitors, you need to always have that friendly tone. Many people quickly respond to emails that have casual tone than emails that are dry and that look like an Ad.

For sure, one of the best things about a list is that it really is like push button income. With a decent sized list, you can write an email that takes a few minutes, press send, and then make hundreds or thousands of dollars. There truly isn’t a quicker way to make large amounts of money than this.

Finally, what about the prospects themselves? At what point in time do you start pruning your list? There is no set time on this. For some, after a year on a list and no sales from the prospect, it’s more than enough time to move on and remove the prospect. For some niches, if they haven’t purchased in a month, they probably never will. For that matter, the list you’ve built may not be responsive at all (looking for free info only) in which case you’re probably best off chucking the whole list.

Bottom line is this. Nothing above is written in stone. The key is monitoring your list and getting a feel for what they respond to and don’t respond to. Only then will you eventually reach a point where you will know how to handle them

Hey everybody!

If you use portable flash drives (thumb drives) to move files from different computers, for example, from your desktop to your laptop or from your home computer to your office computer or if you share files with family and friends…I found a service called Dropbox.

It’s a cloud-based service that will give you 2GB of storage at no cost.

Here’s why I like it…

DropBox has a driver you install that makes it look like a regular file folder on each computer…all the computers you have would have this folder…and they would be all linked and in sync with each other.

The driver is available for Windows, OS X, and even Linux systems.

Check it out here: http://www.stevenmschultz.ws/presents/Dropbox

The DropBox driver makes the files appear locally to each computer.

And again it keeps them constantly in sync.

If you have a team of people who are geographically distributed, it’s as if you’re all sharing the same virtual drive.

DropBox also maintains version histories of files. So if someone accidentally overwrites a file, you can get it back.

DropBox lets you access your files from anywhere in the world through a web browser.

There are some other services like this, but I find that DropBox is a lot easier to use, given it’s installable drivers, automatic syncing, and version histories.

Now I only use my thumb drives for backup or if I have REALLY BIG files.

Again, check it out: http://www.stevenmschultz.ws/presents/Dropbox

3 Ways Article Marketing Can Work For You

You have to put in quite a bit of time and effort to start and develop an online business. If you are trying to build your online business, you need good quality website traffic more than anything else. Having a profitable online business is not possible without a steady stream of targeted visitors. You can read all kinds of e-books and take many courses about internet marketing, but you have to decide on a certain method to start with. To get clear, follow one particular technique and follow through with it until you get results. As you perfect this method and start getting results, you can add new tactics to your arsenal. This article will explore the benefits of article marketing, which is a good strategy to begin with for a number of reasons.

Article marketing gives you the ability to inform your readers about your products so that they are more likely to buy them. People on the internet are tired of being sold things, but they are open to recommendations. Articles give people a chance to find out about what you are offering and then make a choice about whether or not to buy it. You can, for example, write an article with some general information about the topic and then mention your specific product and include a link to your website. Your visitors can then absorb the information and feel that they are still free to act as they want. It’s always important to focus on pre-selling before you actually sell because it tends to warm up the prospect.

Another advantage with article marketing is that it can help you build a solid email list very quickly.

Your articles can be written to target a particular niche and entice them to subscribe to your ezine or newsletter. You can use the resource box at the foot of your article to add a link that points directly to your opt-in page. Add an offer of a free ebook or report for people who subscribe so readers are even more tempted to click through to your sign-up page. You can then send out updates to your subscribers that let them know about any products you’re promoting.

You can also make money off of affiliate products with article marketing. Article marketing effectively brings your targeted audience to your site where you’ll then earn money from every product you sell. This is what we in the business term “Bum Marketing” whereby you create many articles using certain keywords and then you put them on the various directories. Article marketing is great for making affiliate sales as people are already searching for what you’re offering and you just answered their problem. If you can do this while also making your articles optimized for the search engines, you’ll get much more traffic and make more money.

In essence, you can make lots of money article marketing but it’s how you conduct your practice that makes the difference. Most people don’t succeed with article marketing and that’s because they don’t do the required research. Do not ignore proper research of the keywords and content if you ever hope to succeed.

There are countless online marketers that are desperately trying to establish their own list of email addresses and garnish a group of dedicated subscribers who also have confidence in their knowledge and business. Yet, the vast majority of these marketers get drug into the plethora of “get rich quick” ideas, leaveing no time or energy to devote to their list building. Without focus, they mistakenly become entangled in ideas and ventures that can easily be avoided, costing them both profits and time. If you are aware of the basic errors to avoid, the process of list building is actually rather straight forward. List building can be called as the heart of your online business, and can prove to be the best tool to generate income on the long run. To easily avoid these simple mistakes and build this valuable list, a review of errors to avoid will be covered here. In cases where you would definitely like a complete strategy for email list building check out my Epic Traffic Systems Bonus offer.

It seems that many marketers have trouble with the same question regarding an acceptable frequency of mailing to their email list. A common error many newbies make is that they either email too much, or not enough. Some believe one per day is reasonable, while others say you don’t want to send any more often that weekly. Finding that “happy medium” is the key. Sending too many emails will irritate people and they will delete you, or mark you as spam. Email them too little, and they will likely not even remember who you are. So the time frame depends on what you’re sending them. Emails with info that is helpful to people is far less likely to offend, bother, or irritate them, and can be sent more frequently. Before long, they may even rely on you as their ONLY source for this information. Alternatively, if you only contact them one time per month, it is possible that they will simply forget about you. You’ll do well to remember that you should always have a reasonable pace for sending emails. Although people may be very interested, once-a-day emails can still get monotonous. Limiting your emails to about two or three per week is generally best.

Another common mistake budding internet marketers make is sending emails promoting their business of list to people who aren’t even subscribed to that list. Such marketing techniques may get you reported as spam and usually anger people; there is no justifiable reason to employ this technique.

Be painstakingly obvious when presenting your identity and contact information in your promotional emails. No purpose is served by anonymous marketing emails, which are usually deleted without being read. A good promotional email contains all your relevant company information including the address, phone number, product information, etc. Apart from this, you need to put in all efforts to make sure that your email doesn’t look like spam. For your subject line, make sure to avoid the use of words that may flag your email as spam or other unwanted correspondence. In the event you might like to step-up  targeted visitors to your online websites and accelerate your web based income source  fairly quickly by using email list building  along with a  self contained visitors  technique learn precisely what Keith Baxter and Jon Shugart and Joey Smith tend to be  explaining in my Epic Traffic Systems review.

So now you should be able to clearly see that creating an effective email list may involve some real work on your part. You’ll find that it becomes much easier as you discover the science behind it. Remember to avoid the above mistakes and continue to gain understanding and knowledge regarding list building and you will maintain a competitive edge. Get Your Site Indexed Quickly

Need to get your site indexed quickly or just want to add a few links?  This is the technique I use when I start a new site.

It’s very simple!

Take each of the following links and replace YOURDOMAIN.com with the domain name of your website.

http://www.statbrain.com/www.yourdomain.com
http://www.websiteoutlook.com/www.yourdomain.com
http://builtwith.com/?yourdomain.com
http://snapshot.compete.com/yourdomain.com
http://www.aboutus.org/yourdomain.com
http://www.quantcast.com/yourdomain.com
http://www.cubestat.com/www.yourdomain.com
http://whois.tools4noobs.com/info/yourdomain.com
http://www.alexa.com/siteinfo/yourdomain.com
http://www.alexa.com/data/details/?url=yourdomain.com
http://www.siteadvisor.cn/sites/yourdomain.com/summary/
http://whois.domaintools.com/yourdomain.com
http://www.aboutdomain.org/backlinks/yourdomain.com/
http://www.whoisya.com/yourdomain.com
http://www.who.is/whois-com/yourdomain.com
http://www.robtex.com/dns/yourdomain.com.html
http://www.zimbio.com/search?q=yourdomain.com&btnG=Search
http://whois.ws/whois-info/ip-address/yourdomain.com/
http://whoisx.co.uk/yourdomain.com
http://searchanalytics.compete.com/site_referrals/yourdomain.com

Now, after replacing  YOURDOMAIN.com with your site name,  go visit each URL.

Now,  the next thing you need to do is submit each link with your domain in the URL to several social bookmarking websites (use the websites listed in the next paragraph).  By doing this you will get the URLs quickly indexed and in turn Google will see a one-way back link to your site.  Repeat this for all the above URLs.

A couple of services that will automate this process is http://www.onlywire.com and www.socialmarker.com.  Hint: When submitting using these sites, “Title” is the keyword you want your page to rank for. “Link” is obvious.  “Text” should describe the contents of the page using the keyword from “Title”.  “Tags” should be the keyword and several variations.

Next, submit all the URLs to several of the top RSS Aggregators.  This is easy to do using this free tool: http://www.html2rss.com.
This tool will convert your entire list of URLs to one single RSS Feed. Then simply submit the link generated by the www.html2rss.com site to several of the top RSS Aggregators. You can also do this with any social bookmarking submission site’s links.

Remember…
Do Your Best …And Forget The Rest!

You Need Your Own Website!

I’m sure you’ve been told or have read over and over again that you do not need a website of your own.  In reality, you would be much better off if you have one.  The advantages of having your own website may not be apparent right now, but later on as time goes by it will become very clear.  Everything from blogging, to building a mailing list or selling products of your own or as an affiliate will be a whole lot simpler if you have your own domain and Web hosting.

Hostgator.com is probably the best-known host provider.  They can provide a hosting account for just dollars per month.  When you’re just starting out you can choose any level of service you wish, but I recommend anything above the basic service level.  I personally use Bluehost.com and have for many years.  Their service and prices are simular to be Hostgator.com.

Some other well-known names such as GoDaddy.com also offer hosting but they are better known for registering domain names.  For hosting, I would always recommend Hostgator.com or Bluehost.com.  Most Internet Marketers use them more than any other host providers.  Come up with a unique domain name for your site before signing up.  To take a long-term approach the domain name should be fairly broad in scope in case you shift focus.  For example, if you name your site BestGolf.com, and then decide to switch and head in a different direction, for example, gardening or blogging as your niche, then you will need a new domain name.  So instead, try a more generic name, for example GreatDigitalProducts.com or something like that.  You should only use .com or .net but not .me or .org.  Most people will assume that your site is .com.  Most of the time I try to get .com myself.  If you purchase your domain from GoDaddy.com they will have recommendations if the domain name you are trying to register is already taken.  I usually use GoDaddy.com in purchasing a domain name but Namedcheap.com is also a good choice.  Keep in mind you should never have to pay more than $10 annually to register and keep a domain name.
